The Monuments at Night
After we went to the National Zoo, we checked into our hotel and swam for a while to relax. Then we decided to go out to see the Lincoln Memorial. Once we got there, we ended up walking all over the place: the Vietnam Memorial, the White House, the Washington Monument and points in between. We enjoyed seeing everything, especially the World War II, which hadn't been there the last time we were in DC. It is very beautiful to see at night. Needless to say, the kids had very tired feet and we were all worn out when we got back to the car to drive back to the hotel. We stopped off for Chinese takeout at a nice restaurant near our hotel at about 9:30pm. A very late dinner!

I know the last time we went there (when?) we saw the WWII one too and I thought it was really neat. I have not been there at night that I remember. Looks like you guys have been seeing a lot of things.
I love the one of Utah with the Washington monument behind him and the one with "Utah" behind him!
